Friday July 17th was the night Rachel and I were going to see Harry Potter in style. We left work about 1 hour early and got into the car to head home, eat, and then go to the theater. Poor "frank" my station wagon was to have none of those shenanigans. Pulling onto the highway the car decided 2nd gear was too cool to hang out with and promptly stopped working. At this point 1st gear still worked so at a top speed of 25mph we made it on time to the movie theater. We had some issues backing out of the parking space because reverse had left with 2nd on a trip to the Bahamas. So with all this excitement Rachel and I still had a great time at the movie. I think they did a great job getting all the major points of the book across and kept contiuity with the rest of the movies. I would recommend it to anyone.

On Sunday I met with a nice family who had a female corgi that needed a companion. The two dogs got a long very well and we placed him with his new family. We will not be inquiring about brownie's future but I think he will be much happier and we will be less stressed with him where he is.
